Anita Lynch
Clinical Director, Psychotherapist & Lecturer
As the Clinical Director of The Misneach Centre, I am dedicated to fostering a compassionate and professional therapeutic environment. While I am not currently seeing clients, my focus remains on leading the centre, supporting my team, and ensuring that every client receives the highest standard of care. I specialize in working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, supporting them in their healing journey and helping them reclaim their sense of self and sexual empowerment. I also work with couples facing a variety of relationship challenges, including infidelity, communication breakdowns, sexual dissatisfaction, parenting struggles, and relationship transitions such as separation or divorce. Additionally, I have extensive experience supporting teenagers through the challenges of toxic or abusive relationships, family and peer conflicts, bullying, self-harm, and sexuality issues. At the core of my work is the belief that no topic is off the table. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can openly explore even the most difficult or taboo subjects. Honest conversations and a strong therapeutic relationship are essential to the healing and personal growth process. Beyond one-to-one therapy, I facilitate: An online support group for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, providing a space for connection, understanding, and healing. An in-person support group for bereaved adults, offering a compassionate environment where individuals can process their grief alongside others who understand. My dedication to mental health has been recognised through multiple industry awards, and I have had the privilege of presenting my published research at Trinity College. As a lecturer, I am passionate about training and mentoring future therapists, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support their clients effectively. At The Misneach Centre, we honour courage—the courage to push forward through uncertainty. €70 per session
