Adolescent Counselling
Adolescent Counselling (Ages 13–18)
Growing up can be really tough. Teen years bring big emotional changes, new pressures, identity questions, relationship shifts, and experiences that may feel overwhelming, confusing, or isolating.
At The Misneach Centre, we offer counselling in a calm, confidential, and respectful space where young people can explore what they’re feeling, develop understanding of their experiences, and build skills to feel more supported and confident.

Adolescents may find counselling helpful for concerns such as:
- Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed
• Low mood or difficulty motivating
• Bullying or peer conflict
• Family relationship tensions
• School pressures and performance anxiety
• Self-identity and self-esteem difficulties
• Navigating relationships and friendships
• Difficult or confusing emotional experiences
You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit, if life feels hard to manage or you feel “not quite yourself,” counselling can offer a supportive place to explore that.
How Counselling Works for Teens
Counselling is a collaborative and respectful process, not about being judged or told what to do, but about helping you explore what’s going on for you and discovering ways to feel more confident, regulated, and understood.
Our teen counsellors work in a trauma-informed and person-centred way, offering empathy, neutrality, and age-appropriate support to help you feel heard and safe.
All enquiries are private and confidential.
For Parents / Guardians
If you’re reading on behalf of your teen, you’re likely seeking a space where they feel truly understood and supported. Our counsellors help young people build emotional awareness, coping skills, and resilience in ways that feel respectful, age-appropriate, and empowering.
We provide information and support to family members where desired, always with the young person’s wellbeing at the centre of care.
