Hello my name is Tara Gleeson. As a qualified counsellor, I provide a confidential, professional, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement. I believe that meaningful change begins when people feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted, and I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey towards healing, growth, and self-discovery.

I work with adults and young people (16+) experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and feelings of overwhelm. I also have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, offering an affirming and respectful approach that recognises each person’s unique strengths, experiences, and needs.

My practice is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration. Taking a person-centred approach, I tailor therapy to meet the individual needs of each client, helping them gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, build resilience, and move towards their personal goals with greater confidence and self-compassion. I strive to create authentic therapeutic relationships built on trust, understanding, and genuine connection.
